 Modules

The modules themselves are produced in an authoring tool and exported to any of the standards available for e-learning (SCORM, xAPI [TinCan], AICC). That means we can publish them in a learning platform you already have, or set up a new one. Or for that matter just publish them on the web as HTML5.

Since we do not build the modules directly in the learning platform, there is no lock-in effect. If we have produced a specific content for you, you can move it to another learning platform if you would like it in the future.

Learning Management System (LMS)

In order to keep track of which courses employees have completed, and manage the administration, a learning platform (LMS) is needed. It is a system that solves everything about distribution (via a site and app), administration, documentation, and follow-up of courses and staff.

We can work with any LMS if you already have one, or set one up if you prefer a turn-key-solution. The ones we are most fond of are Docebo, Rise and TalentLMS, are all easy to use and comes with everything that is needed.

Purpose

The main purpose of an LMS is to improve learning and simplify administration. An LMS does more than just deliver content. It handles the registration of modules and users, can be used to do a competency inventory, follow-up, and reporting.

Benefits of an LMS

  • Personalization

Each person learns best in their own way. With an LMS, employees can easily find the courses they benefit most from and do it in a time and place they prefer.

  • Updated knowledge

It becomes much easier to ensure that what is taught is current, correct and maintains a certain standard if learning is centralized to an LMS. Then there is a single source of updated learning material for all employees.

  • Follow-up and reporting

It makes it easy to spot where there is a need for support and more education. Both managers and employees can easily find out which areas are worth the extra energy and which are already working well.

  • Quick startup

New employees, or employees who have changed roles, will quickly get up to speed. They get access to a superb knowledge bank and can significantly reduce the runway.

  • Simplified learning

An LMS refines the learning process. Every time something is adjusted in the process, it benefits all employees.

  • Reduce costs and save time

Digital learning significantly reduces costs in several ways. Employees won't have to travel and stay overnight to attend training. The fact that it is web-based frees up time for both those who attend and those who educate.
