Increase commitment

Management loves talking about what they should do to create engagement, inspire and motivate workers. We believe that’s the wrong question.

The correct question is ‘Are we doing something that is worth being engaged in?’

But if you got your Why in place and commitment is lacking? Then it’s a symptom that something else is missing. We want to be able to work independently, feel that our contribution is meaningful and that we get better at what we do.

If any of the three pieces are not in place, the commitment will decrease, regardless of salary.

We help companies find the root causes of the low level of commitment. The first thing that happens is usually a workshop where we go through company goals, what the employees need to do to achieve the goals and why they aren't doing it already.

Then, together, we prioritize what changes would give the most bang for the buck and come up with solutions. It may be that the company culture, systems, knowledge, training or anything else is lacking.

Increase learning, independence, and meaningfulness will improve the corporate culture and make it easier to both recruit new and retain existing staff.
